Dallas Filmmakers,

The Film Collective of Dallas, a registered 501(c)(3) public charity, is pleased to announce that we are starting a grant program to provide advisory services, production services, and some funding for Dallas-based feature and series projects.

The only requirements to apply are that the people receiving grants have to be Dallas-area residents and the projects must be filmed in the Dallas area. We plan to approve grants on a rolling basis, so even if you don’t have a prospective project now, you can submit when you’re ready. And if you know someone who would qualify, feel free to spread the word.

The grants won’t be staggeringly large to begin, so priority will be given to projects in the very-low budget range. In addition, while we are open to any genre, we would like to see stories that the filmmaker is passionate about.
